Dr. Linda Groomes
As an author, speaker, diversity consultant, and coach, Linda is on a mission to help women both in their personal and professional journeys. She is also the Founder & CEO of Achieving My Purpose, a nonprofit organization established to empower young women ages 18-30 to embrace their purpose.
Linda has demonstrated her leadership skills in the public and private sectors during her tenure at Hallmark Cards, LGC Enterprises and the City of Scottsdale. She operated her own business, LGC Enterprises, Ltd., for seventeen years. Under her leadership, LGC established itself as a diversity consulting firm with clients throughout the United States. She conducted training in numerous countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and Italy.
Academic Experience
Linda holds a Ph. D from Grand Canyon University in Psychology, a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida State University, and a Certificate of Continuing Education from the Tuck School of Business. She has taught leadership, business, and management courses as an adjunct professor at Rockhurst College, Estrella Mountain Community College, and Mesa Community College.
